Simple from start to finish

How Pinner Tech works

The whole process is designed to be as easy and transparent as possible. You know what you're paying before I start, and you know exactly who's handling your device throughout.

01

Request a quote

Tell me what device you have and what's wrong, no commitment required.

Fill in the short quote request form. Tell me the device type, make and model if you know it, and describe the fault as best you can. The more detail you give me, the more accurate my quote will be but even a rough description is fine to get started.

You don't need to know the exact fault. "It won't turn on" or "the screen is cracked" is plenty to go on.
02

Get your price

I'll come back to you with a clear, itemised quote. Usually within 24 hours.

Once I've reviewed your request, I'll send you a quote by email. It'll clearly show the labour cost and any parts needed. Think of it like a car garage, you see the full price before any work begins, and you decide whether to go ahead.

If I need more information before I can quote accurately, I'll get in touch to ask. No guesswork.
03

Send your device

Happy with the quote? Pack your device securely and post it to me.

Once you've approved the quote, I'll give you the postal address to send your device to. Pack it carefully, bubble wrap and a sturdy box is ideal. I'd recommend using a tracked postal service so you have peace of mind it's arrived safely. I'll confirm receipt as soon as it lands.

I'll send you packing tips by email when you approve the quote, so you don't have to guess.
04

Repair and return

I fix it, test it thoroughly, and post it straight back to you.

Once your device arrives, I get to work. I'll carry out the repair, run thorough tests to make sure everything is working properly, and then send it back to you via tracked post. You'll get a message when it's on its way.

If I open it up and find something unexpected that changes the cost, I'll always contact you before proceeding.

What if you can't fix it?

If I can't fix your device, you don't pay. Simple as that. I'll let you know what I found, and return your device to you. The only thing I'd ask you to cover is the return postage.

Packing your device safely

A well-packed device arrives in the same condition it left. Here's what I recommend:

  • Wrap the device in bubble wrap. At least two layers
  • Place it in a sturdy cardboard box with padding on all sides
  • Don't use an envelope, even a padded one, for anything fragile
  • Use a tracked and insured postal service (Royal Mail Tracked 48 or better)
  • Include a note inside with your name and email address
